Short update!

More updates coming soon, the gears are already shifting into overdrive on this project because we were languishing towards the back end of "we might not get funded" but we actually did in the most explosive fashion we've yet to see.

Print & Play Decks

So we can't change any reward levels as they've all already been pledged but we wanted to announce something several people have been asking about

PRINT & PLAY CARDS! $20!

The main draw to the Print & Play (or PnP) cards is that you'll be able to print out individual cards in any way you see fit to use in your game. You don't have to lug around 600 individual cards or 12 decks, you don't have to tote a book with you (or pay the extra to have a printed copy of that either, if you don't have room for the physical rewards). The way this works is that you'll receive a PDF that is scaled to print on a single standard sheet of 8.5"x 11" paper at 300dpi. It will contain a layout of all 600 cards separated by class in which you can easily print only the page/pages you need when you need them. Each page will contain 4 cards with their fronts and backs on them, you can print the page with the item you want and cut out that item to hand out to your players or show at your table. You can also separate the back of the card with information about the item from the art and leave a little more mystery in your game, players won't know what an item does (or you could use the art and swap the statistics to whatever you see fit if that's what you want to do) until you're ready to reveal it to them. These should also fit inside of standard 2.5"x 3.5" playing card sleeves if you choose to use any.

We can't change the existing rewards, you'll have to modify your pledge and simply add $20 on top of what you've already pledged and we will include an easy way during BackerKit to choose that you have the Print & Play cards already paid for OR to add them at this time.

Why now?

As you can tell, we've raised over $30,000 but we're still short $15,000. We have 7 days to pass that $45,000 mark or we won't have any funds at all with which to pay our artist, pay our editor, pay our writers... this is it. We're in the last week so it's make or break time! It takes a lot of time to make a totally separate layout of cards and each needs individual attention after their returned from the editor and usually only then after their already in the book, it's a big extra processing step that we have to do aside from everything else and we knew that we planned on including it in our process eventually but it wasn't an initial campaign concern, we planned on adding it into the BackerKit for those interested :) We've set the cost at $20 because you're still receiving the entire collection of cards and we will have to pay someone to lay them out and test them, plenty of work goes into making them and they'll look great!

If you would like to add a copy OR just help us reach our final funding goal then please tack on an extra $20 to your current pledge, we do always offer extra's in the BackerKit like our $5 dice sets and you can apply that extra towards shipping or other items that will be available when you fill out your survey after the project is complete.

At least once or twice during a campaign we like to point out other projects that we're in love with and this is the post we're doing it in! We've backed these ourselves or plan to and they're either something you can use in your game to enhance your experiences at the table OR they're just plain cool and we think you should see them!

Healer's Dice

First we've got this excellent implementation of the Healing Potion, extremely awesome custom infinity dice that roll anywhere between 2-5 and AFFORDABLE AS HECK! $20 and you can get a custom glass vial with a stopper and 10 dice, that's enough to roll every type of potion in the book! This is one of those promising looking projects that can help enhance your gaming at a PC if you prefer to game that way or just can't find a group to get together with, probably a replacement or side company that will compete directly with Roll20 should it take off! With it's current demo it's looking AMAZING!

50% Funded!

So we're almost half way done with allotted funding time and we've just hit our 50% mark on this project! That means we're still in the race, no worries folks ;)

We have a big email blast going out from one of our favorite companies to work with, Nord Games, who will be getting us out in front of tens of thousands of people. Between that email push and Kickstarter itself always helping with some exposure on the last few days of a project we think we're well within funding range at this point!

Thank you for backing our projects and helping us bring our dreams into reality, it might sound cliche if you've heard other projects say it in the past but it's the absolute truth! Without your interest in our work it wouldn't ever be made except at our own tables and now we get to share our creations with the world.

That being said, if you have a moment please shout out about our project on social media, we don't get to do much advertising and it shows in our projects that we're helped tremendously by individuals that talk about what we're making and get their friends excited about it as well. We are making things for groups of people to tell stories with after all, it makes sense to get the group excited about it!

We broke $10K!

Just a short update to say THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for coming out with the early support train! This is twice what we've ever earned in this amount of time and we're so happy to see you all showing up and sharing your enthusiasm! 

We're still a long ways from the end but at this rate, if we keep in line with what all of our others Kickstarters have done in the past, we'll be funded before it's over :)

36 hours and 22%, as you all know we don't have a lot of overhead being such a small company to put into advertising so we rely on all of you backers to help us keep awareness up and push our campaign out to your friends and groups that you have on social media.
